What we do

TrackIt Financial, Inc. is a software company. We make one product: TrackIt, an iPhone app that helps people see where their money actually goes. It securely connects to the bank accounts and cards a person already has, then organizes their spending so it can be understood at a glance — without spreadsheets, manual data entry, or the upkeep that makes most budgeting tools get abandoned after a week.

We built it because tracking spending is a problem most people have already tried to solve and given up on. The tools exist, but they ask for more effort than the answer is worth. Our approach is to do the work automatically and show people something useful without asking them to maintain it.

How we handle your money data

Bank connections are handled by Plaid, a regulated financial data provider used by thousands of financial apps. TrackIt never sees or stores your bank username and password — you enter those directly with your bank through Plaid, and we receive read-only access to your account and transaction data.

We do not sell your personal or financial information, and we do not share it with advertisers. You can disconnect an account or delete your TrackIt account, along with the data associated with it, at any time. Our Privacy Policy sets out in full what we collect, why, and how long we keep it.
